Description

OVERVIEW

SBX Cars is proud to offer this extremely rare and achingly beautiful 2020 Ferrari Monza SP1. Finished in Rosso Fiorano and Argento Nürburgring over a Nero cabin, it shows just 140 kilometers (87 miles) on the odometer at the time of cataloging.

Inspired by legendary Ferrari barchettas from the 1950s, this SP1 is part of the modern Icona series. Forget about self-driving, connected, and hands-free driving appliances. This modern callback to immersive motoring is all about the uniquely visceral experience of a single-seat, roofless exotic with a howling V12 engine.

Pulling from the spectacular 812 Superfast, this Monza SP1 is something else entirely with an arresting “two-wave” silhouette that visually splits the speedster into an upper cover and a lower hull. Built for the Italian automaker’s top-tier customers, fewer than 500 of these most exclusive Ferraris were ever built.

NOTABLE COMMENTARY AND AWARDS

Maranello, 09 September 2020 – The Ferrari Monza SP1 has won the prestigious Compasso d’Oro (Golden Compass), one of the most sought-after awards in the industrial design world. Just 11 cars have ever received the Compasso d’Oro in its long history, of which three are Ferraris: the F12berlinetta in 2014, FXX-K in 2016 and now the Monza SP1.

The ADI (Industrial Design Association) jury chose the Monza SP1 because of “its ability to project itself into the future and draw on the legacy of memory without ever feeling vintage”.

The Ferrari Monza SP1 was designed as an uncompromising single-seat road car that offers a truly unique experience behind the wheel.

SPECIFICATIONS & OPTIONS

This like-new 2020 Ferrari Monza SP1 is powered by a naturally aspirated 65° 6.5L F140 V12 rated for 799 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 530 lb-ft of torque at 7,000 rpm with an 8,900 rpm redline.

This front-mid mounted engine sits in an immaculate engine bay. It features F1-derived variable geometry intake tracts and is optioned with carbon fiber intake covers.
