SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this 1969 Dodge Charger R/T two-door hardtop showing 6,518 miles on the odometer at the time of this cataloging. Finished in black over a two-tone black and red leather interior, this custom Mopar muscle car is now offered with a clear title.
The Dodge Charger made a name for itself as a performance icon during the peak muscle car era. It was (and remains) a pop-culture phenomenon thanks to its stardom in television and film over the last five-plus decades. Recognized for its on-track skillset and its powerful engines, the Charger had body lines that made it look athletic – and even downright menacing.
Inside, outside, and everywhere in between, this sleek Charger was fully reimagined by its builder to convey a unique creative vision. At its core is a numbers-matching V8 that was bored out and completely built up with a mild cam and TTI headers, all of which allows for comfortably cruising at 80 mph while turning only 2,500 RPM. Updated cooling and venting are optimized for today’s speeds and traffic, with the functioning hood vent dissipating heat and the large aluminum radiator and electric fans for additional cooling.
The exterior was taken to bare metal and treated to a professional-grade black refinish that showcases the exceptional body lines, clean panel gaps, and a unique bumblebee stripe that was painted and clear-coated. The attention to detail is evident throughout.
The cockpit was designed to be a place of cruising comfort, starting off with a pair of form-fitting Corbeau bucket seats with added cushion, a custom center console, and Vintage Air A/C. The Kenwood audio system features all-new speakers, including a cleverly-engineered enclosure for the trunk-mounted amplifier and subwoofer. The setup is capped off with adaptive LED ambient lighting and Dynamat sound-deadening material.
Finally, speaking of sound, the Flowmaster mufflers give this Charger a growl that matches its sinister look. The seller says the car “Turns heads and attracts crowds everywhere it goes.” We believe it.
