Finished in Nardo Grey over a handcrafted Royal Blue and black plaid interior, this open-top Mercedes-Benz is titled as a 1987 300 SLR and is now offered by Gulf Coast Exotic Auto in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Modeled after the legendary 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR sports car of World Sportscar Championship fame, this stunning two-seat roadster took shape in 2022 at the hands of S-Klub LA, a private coach design studio based in southern California. S-Klub explains: “We build high-quality, one-of-a-kind vehicles with an artistic soul and precision engineering.”

With that vision in mind, the evolution of this car – which bears an assigned identification number – started out with a complete overhaul of its handcrafted frame. From there, it went through a painstaking build and became the recipient of an LS1 V8 engine, carbon fiber exterior trim, factory-style headlights and windshield, a side-exit exhaust system, Boyd Coddington wheels, and a striking two-seat interior with a Budnik steering wheel and a Dave Mason shifter. The dream was truly brought into reality.

The original Mercedes-Benz SLR’s designation of “Sport, Leight, Rennen” (sport, light, racing) rings true with this custom supercar. S-Klub LA prides itself with its tagline, “Bespoke automotive excellence,” and this roadster masterfully exemplifies that objective.
