SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu hardtop showing just 628 miles driven since restoration at the time of this cataloging. Finished in gray metallic with matte black striping over a black cloth interior, this custom second-generation Chevelle is offered with build receipts, spare keys, and a clear title.
During the muscle car era’s horsepower wars, the midsized Chevelle was at the front lines of the competition. Chevrolet was so aggressive with its marketing that it called the Chevelle “The Class Bully.”
This eye-catching Chevelle restomod was re-engineered inside and out via Hot Rods & Custom Stuff of Escondido, California. Building on a best-of-both-worlds approach, the shop integrated modern reliability, comfort, and performance while maintaining the Chevelle’s iconic 1960s silhouette. The keystone to the car’s thoughtfully-crafted spec sheet is its 6.2-liter LS9 supercharged “Gen IV” small-block V8 – an engine that famously powered the sixth-generation Corvette ZR1. Plentiful power is at the ready.
The all-black-themed cockpit has been upgraded with a Vintage Air HVAC system, power windows, and a Hurst shifter. The car’s high-end audio setup uses a Kenwood touchscreen head unit in a custom center console, dual Cerwin Vega amplifiers, and Pioneer subwoofers. Add in the growl of the car’s Flowmaster dual exhaust system, and this Chevelle makes all the right noises for a purpose-built classic GM with athletic capabilities.
Invoices have been provided for work performed by Hot Rods & Custom Stuff including parts, materials, mechanical, fabrication, bodywork, paint, assembly, and upholstery.
The seller has provided a photo gallery as well as a series of videos showing the exterior, interior, a start-up, and a driving demonstration.

The Chevelle is an enduring symbol of muscle-car culture, and this restomod with its performance-tuned suspension, supercharged V8, and Wilwood disc brakes is a force to be reckoned with on the streets. It was built with top-quality parts by an expert shop, and it seamlessly blends old and new into the perfect package.
