Highlights

  • 5.0-liter Coyote V8
  • 4R70W 4-speed automatic
  • Eleanor-style body kit finished in Snow White Pearl
  • Fesler flushmount front and rear windows
  • Rohana RFX5 Wheels
  • Reported 693 miles since build

Overview

This 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback Eleanor replica has only 693 miles and combines classic looks with modern technology and power. This truly custom build is inspired by the 2000 movie car; however, as one can see, it is not a nut-and-bolt tribute. The primary signs are the Snow White Pearl paint, flushmount windows, Rohana RFX5 wheels, and beige leather interior, but it doesn’t stop there.

This Mustang restomod is powered by a 435-horsepower 5.0L Coyote V8 backed by a 4R70W 4-speed automatic transmission and a Mosler 3.73:1 differential. Ford Racing headers and a Borla exhaust with electric cutouts provide the soundtrack. Modern handling is achieved with subframe bracing, QA1 adjustable coilovers, tubular front control arms, and a Competition Engineering 4-link in the rear. Baer 6-piston brakes provide the stopping power.

The interior is as much about technology as it is comfort. The bolstered high-back beige leather seats hug the occupants. The driver grips a billet and leather steering wheel with paddle shifters attached to a tilt column, while digital gauges provide the vitals. The center console houses the power window controls and an iPad that controls the upgraded stereo with JL Audio amp and speakers. Old Air Products Hurricane air-conditioning keeps everything cool.

This Eleanor-inspired Mustang delivers a rare blend of iconic styling and modern performance, making it far more than just a tribute car. It stands as a turnkey restomod built to be driven and enjoyed, offering the look of a legend with the reliability and capability of today’s engineering.
