SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this custom Batmobile tribute based on a second-gen Mercedes-Benz CL 55 AMG Kleemann. Finished in matte black over a black Mercedes-sourced leather cabin, this incredible one-off creation is a Batman fantasy come to life.
The second-generation Mercedes-Benz CL 55 AMG was a serious car all by itself. Essentially an S Class coupe with a handbuilt AMG supercharged 5.4-liter V8 making nearly 500 horsepower, these were under-the-radar rockets.
Today’s fascinating creation, which was sold on SBX Cars in December 2024, started with a CL 55 AMG massaged by famed Danish tuner Kleemann to put down some 600 horsepower. From there, Specautotuning out of Ukraine and AVG Autos out of Germany were enlisted to develop the vehicle back up for auction.
Featuring 3D modeling of all systems, including the chassis, powertrain, and electrical, it was built at a cost of €251,250 not including the donor CL 55 AMG. Service History
The Mercedes AMG donor engine had approximately 150,000 km (93,206 mi) on the odometer when it was removed for use in the Batmobile tribute, while the chassis itself has seen just a few miles since completion. The most recent service consisted of an oil and filter change.

The donor Mercedes-Benz CL 55 AMG that was used to build this Batmobile tribute had two previous owners. Since completion of the project, there have been two additional owners, with the current owner/seller purchasing the vehicle on SBX Cars in December 2024.
