Designed by Henrik Fisker, the Z8 leaned on the legendary BMW 507 roadster from the ‘50s. Crisp lines and minimalism led the way, while a 394-horsepower S62 V8, shared with the E39 M5, provided motivation. Considering the Z8 weighs some 500 pounds less than the M5, it’s easy to imagine the level of driving excitement on tap.

A rolling masterpiece of automotive art when it arrived during the golden era of BMW styling, the Z8 was an instant classic on looks alone. On top of that, it boasted aluminum spaceframe construction with aluminum body panels, 50:50 weight distribution, and M5 power. The latter of which could sling the Z8 to 60 in just 4.5 seconds.
BMW only sent 2,543 examples of the Z8 to American shores during its brief production run in the early 2000s, making them relatively rare. Rarer still are Z8s that remain in untouched, factory-original condition, which is why today’s low-mileage Titanium Silver stunner is so special.
