SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this 2021 Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series showing just 7,701 mi (12,394 km) on the odometer at the time of cataloging. Finished in Designo Graphite Gray Magno over a Black Exclusive Nappa leather and DINAMICA cabin, this RENNtech-modified AMG GT is at the pinnacle of Black Series performance.
Mercedes-AMG built the GT Black Series to set the production car lap record on the Nürburgring and did just that, knocking the Aventador SVJ from its perch by more than a second. Doing so required upgrades like a unique flat-plane crank V8, heavy use of carbon fiber, motorsport-derived suspension, and cutting-edge aero.
The finished car was spectacular with 720 hp, a 202-mph top end, and a roughly $340,000 price tag. However, the example we have today manages to go further…much further. Adding some $42,000 in custom-engineered upgrades from legendary Mercedes tuner RENNtech, this particular GT Black Series makes an incredible 1,066 horsepower and 831 lb-ft of torque.

Summary
Developed entirely in-house by Mercedes-AMG, the GT was a world-class sports car out of the gate. Applying the rarely used Black Series moniker moved it up to halo status with exotic materials, extreme aero, and an exclusive flat-plane crank V8. Setting a new Nürburgring lap record of 6:43.62, it would have seemed the AMG GT Black Series could not be improved upon.
But this stunning RENNtech R3 example says otherwise. Elevating the performance to staggering heights and finished with meticulous attention to detail, this 2021 AMG GT RENNtech R3 is a car with few equals and one destined to turn heads in the hands of its next owner.
