Overview

This 1985 Ferrari Mondial Quattrovalvole Cabriolet shows just 18,217 miles at the time of this cataloging. Finished in Prugna Metallic over a Crema leather interior, this Mondial is offered with a tool kit, car cover, owner’s manual, original keys, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear title.

Making its world debut in 1982, the Mondial grand-tourer became known as the ultimate iteration of the Ferrari 308 series before the launch of the 328. It was a unique car in the supercar segment, offering two-plus-two seating (along with adequate luggage space), all of which made it a viable option for everyday driving. The Quattrovalvole (or QV) model boasted a four-valve-per-cylinder V8 that gave the car a captivating audio note as well as race-inspired performance to match the car’s sporty silhouette.

This striking, low-mileage Prugna Metallic Mondial was manufactured in February 1985 and is said to be one of only a few dozen examples that were manufactured its color for the United States. Under prior ownership, the car received a timing belt and water pump service. Noteworthy features include pop-up quad headlights, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, Pininfarina badging, and quad exhaust outlets.

This well-kept QV Cabriolet offers a rare blend of open-top Italian flair with genuine four-person usability. It’s an unmodified Ferrari icon in a brilliant color combination that bears strong investment potential for any Ferrari collector.
