  • Naturally aspirated 8.0L V10
  • 460 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque
  • 6-speed Tremec manual
  • Original 20-spoke BBS wheels
  • Unmodified, single owner

Overview

This 2001 Dodge Viper GTS ACR, showing 29,040 km (18,045 miles) on the odometer at the time of cataloging, is finished in Viper Red with silver stripes over a black leather interior. Sold new in Saskatoon and one of just 50 examples built for the Canadian market, it has remained unmodified and dealer-maintained, with full records included.

The ACR package sharpened the already raw GTS with weight reduction, adjustable suspension, and increased power from the wicked 8.0-liter V10. Rated at 460 horsepower, it is renowned for immediate throttle response and a direct, mechanical feel through the 6-speed Tremec—no filters, no assists - just a huge engine and massive grip.

With its original BBS wheels, track-ready hardware, and intact factory configuration, this stunning red example stays true to what made the Viper ACR special. It remains unaltered, and with its documented history and limited production, stands as a prime example of one of the most demanding American performance cars of its era.

Summary

This ACR captures the Viper at its most intense — lighter, sharper, and built with a dedication to track use over creature comforts. The rare combination of a big V10, manual gearbox, and minimal driver aids delivers a driving experience that demands attention and rewards commitment.

With its tightly limited Canadian-market production, unmodified condition, and supporting documentation, this 2001 Viper ACR is a properly preserved example of one of Dodge’s all-time high-performance car, and is sure to be the highlight of any serious collection.
