Overview

SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this 1971 Plymouth Road Runner Hemi, showing just 19,691 miles (31,691 km) on the odometer at the time of cataloging. Finished in black with factory white strobe stripes over a black vinyl interior, this example retains its original sheet metal, body panels, transmission and rear end, VIN, and trim tags following a comprehensive restoration.

This is an exceptionally rare configuration — 1 of just 28 produced with a 4-speed manual and one of even fewer with the Dana 60 rear axle with the Super Track Pack. The car is documented with two original broadcast sheets and an in-depth Dave Wise inspection report, and the seller reports that it has been well maintained throughout its life.

Power comes from a correct 426 Hemi with dual four-barrel carburetors paired to the original 4-speed manual transmission and Dana 60. With its original structure, documented provenance, and carefully preserved presentation, this Road Runner represents a highly authentic example of Mopar’s final year of Hemi performance.
