Overview

SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SL roadster showing 45,500 miles on the odometer at the time of this cataloging. Finished in Horizon Blue Metallic over a blue MB-Tex interior, this W113 is offered by Miami Garage with a tool kit, service records, and a clear title.

Dubbed the “Pagoda,” the W113 was known for balancing sports-car performance with touring luxury. The design was imagined by Paul Bracq and remained in production from 1963 through 1971. This low-mileage 280SL from the final model year was manufactured in Stuttgart in June 1970 and is presented today in a newer coat of its original paint code according to the factory-affixed data tag.

The car delivers the ultimate in open-air versatility via its dual available roof layouts – a factory soft top and the removable, color-keyed hardtop. This example comes with newer tires, a recently-serviced transmission, and service records to back it all up. It is a peak example of the Pagoda and is guaranteed to be an enthusiast favorite at any canyon cruise or elite concours event.
