SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this 1988 Land Rover Defender 110 showing 17,970 miles on the odometer at the time of this cataloging. Finished in gray metallic over a black interior with Corbeau bucket seats, it is now offered in Connecticut by Black Horse Garage with documentation, service records, and a clear title.
Dating back to the early 1980s, the Defender became known for much more than just its boxy, iconic design. It built a worldwide reputation for its off-road prowess: A robust ladder chassis, grippy four-wheel drive system, solid axle suspension, and short overhangs all contributed to the Defender being a sturdy and dependable rig that was ready to tackle just about any terrain thrown its way.
This bespoke European-market, right-hand-drive 110 was reimagined from the ground up with the enthusiast in mind. It combines all-around utility with the athletic LS V8 heart of a Chevrolet Corvette, a FOX Racing suspension, a reimagined exterior, and a cabin that boasts the creature comforts of a modern sport-utility vehicle. It’s a classic 4x4 with cutting-edge performance, reliability, and amenities. A strong recent service history also ensures that it’s mechanically sorted for the next owner.
If you have been hunting for a turn-key “adventure build,” you have come to the right place. All this Defender needs is an eager driver, a tank of gas, and a compelling destination.

This Defender 110 is said to be free of substantial imperfections.
Imported from Europe, yet powered with brute American muscle, this fully-customized Defender is a 4x4 that will surely set you apart from everyone else on the backcountry trails. Its inherent ruggedness has been amplified with a host of modern equipment upgrades like a FOX suspension, a Wilwood braking system, an Ashcroft transfer case, and much more.
