This is "ADRNLN" — a 1972 DeTomaso Pantera reborn by Ringbrothers. 5,000 hours, 600 hp, and pure handcrafted insanity that made history.

      Overview

SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this bespoke 1972 DeTomaso Pantera showing about 10,000 miles at the time of this cataloging. Finished in BASF’s Glasurit “Yellow Line” over a custom yellow and black leather interior, this custom Pantera is now offered in Texas with keys, a poster, and a clear Montana title in the seller’s name.

From its first debut in 1970, the DeTomaso Pantera was an eye-catching piece of machinery – combining sexy Italian-inspired styling with brute American horsepower. Over three decades later, one Pantera was completely reimagined, receiving a massive injection both of modern looks and of cutting-edge performance. The result was a vehicle unlike anything the supercar world had ever seen before.

Dubbed “ADRNLN,” this Pantera was brought to life by Ringbrothers Jim and Mike Ring of Spring Green, Wisconsin. Their successful car-building enterprise has caught the attention and acclaim of television viewers, magazines, and performance enthusiasts around the globe. ADRNLN was the recipient of over 5,000 hours of custom work; nearly every panel was handcrafted. The body was smoothed, widened, and modernized with carbon fiber accents throughout. The vehicle was built for a Nike board member and is presented as a 1971 model year to pay homage to the year the company was founded. It made a star-studded appearance at the SEMA show in Las Vegas after being completed in 2013, and it was featured in extensive promotional efforts by Prestone Corporation, who was also responsible for commissioning the current interior.

In January 2015, the car sold at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale to TV personality Richard Rawlings, who himself is a known figure in the automotive world thanks to his show “Fast ‘N’ Loud.” ADRNLN became known as the highest-selling Pantera in collector-car auction history. It later went on to be featured inside the prestigious Petersen Museum in Los Angeles before making its way to its current owner.

Rare is the opportunity to own a supercar that combines celebrity ownership, extensive on-camera provenance, and a unique story to back it all up. SBX Cars is thrilled to make history with this machine.

As noted above, this Pantera is presented as a 1971 model year as an homage to the year Nike was founded.

Prestone owned the vehicle after Richard Rawlings and before the seller. It was during Prestone's ownership that the interior was changed to the current black and yellow design.

Per the seller, the vehicle is ideal for someone no taller than 5’10", and is reportedly the primary reason he is selling and why Mr. Rawlings sold the car.
