Signed by Lamborghini legend Valentino Balboni, this 2003 Murciélago in Giallo Orion is a magazine-featured, V12-powered icon of Italian supercar history.
Overview
SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this 2003 Lamborghini Murciélago showing 34,859 kilometers (21,660 miles) at the time of this cataloging. Finished in Giallo Orion over a black leather interior, this Murciélago is now offered in Switzerland with two keys, a first aid kit, a toolkit, a car cover, a battery tender, a pair of gloves, magazine features, registration documents, and owner’s manuals.
Right out of the gate, the Murciélago set new standards for its eager acceleration, keen handling, and unprecedented all-wheel drive traction. It was one of the hottest supercars of to ever leave Lamborghini’s Sant’Agata, Bolognese assembly plant. From its unmistakable scissor doors to its muscular stance, it became an instant “poster car” for performance car enthusiasts from around the globe.
Car and Driver said, “Few things in life so reliably induce giddiness as a couple of zero-to-80-mph blasts in a Murciélago, a process, by the way, that requires but a third of the available gears.”
This stunning, low-mileage Murciélago has graced the pages of various magazines and books over the years. In 2005, it was photographed and featured in Lamborghini: Supercars from Sant’Agata by Haynes Publishing U.K. One of the car’s feature appearances was hand-signed by Valentino Balboni, the former chief test driver for Lamborghini. In keeping with the car’s strong provenance, it has been fastidiously maintained throughout life, as evidenced by dealership stampings in a service journal. Lamborghini of Milano performed one such service only about 1,000 kilometers ago.
This Murciélago has enjoyed pride of ownership that’s second-to-none. You’ll be proud to make it yours.
