This auction was sold privately for $250,000

SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this 1987 AM General Humvee showing just 1,700 miles on the odometer at the time of cataloging. Coated with Patriot Liner’s bedliner in blue over a custom cabin, this SEMA show build is truly one-of-a-kind.
Stealing the show at an event like SEMA in Las Vegas is no easy feat, but this wild rat rod-style Hummer H1 was up to the task during its appearance in 2023. The unique open-engine format with its central exhaust stack, bellowing 6.6L Duramax turbodiesel V8, and Slantback design is like nothing else on the road.
That big V8 has been rebuilt with compound turbos to the tune of 750 horsepower, the trick air suspension is capable of a 10” ride height or a fully slammed street vibe. Look inside and you’ll find hand-crafted panels, classy distressed brown leather upholstery, and a bumping Kicker audio system. In short, this Humvee is a stunner.
Technology
The vehicle has not been serviced since the build was completed.
A third party vehicle inspection was performed on June 10, 2025. Aside from some light interior wear, no issues of consequence were noted.
The seller put it best when describing this heavily customized 1987 AM General Humvee as a “seamless fusion of rat rod aesthetics, Humvee heritage, and top-tier craftsmanship.” A beast of a vehicle in stock form, this wild ride is on another level with its hard-charging 6.6L turbodiesel V8, carefully built suspension, and 40” Mickey Thompson rubber.
Comprehensively overhauled from top to bottom with a heavy emphasis on hand fabrication, this Patriot Liner Humvee is for the enthusiast who demands the best and craves something entirely different from anything else on the road.
