SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this 2005 Ford SVT Adrenalin prototype. A one-off build by Ford’s legendary SVT division, it boasts concept-car trim with aggressive lines, a monochromatic red finish, and a fully operational 4.6L SOHC V8 - lifted from the period SVT Mustang Cobra - under the hood.
Conceived to bring muscle car power to the pickup truck world, the Adrenalin concept was envisioned as the world’s first high-performance sport-utility truck. Intended to house a supercharged V8 producing 390 hp, all-wheel drive, and a short bed, it demonstrated what a modern, powerful lifestyle truck could be —with Ford’s SVT DNA.
Today’s offering celebrates that bold experiment. As the only factory-built concept ever made, this Sport Trac Adrenalin carries unparalleled provenance. For collectors, Ford history buffs, and fans of rare prototypes, this Adrenalin concept stands as a unique opportunity — a concept-truck legend ready for its next steward.
At this time, the odometer is inoperable and driver's window is not functioning.
As a factory-built concept, this Sport Trac Adrenalin is not street-legal and is sold with a bill of sale. An underhood plaque states it is a prototype built by Ford Motor Company.
The CARFAX report shows no history of accidents or damage.
For those who believe in what could have been, this 2005 Ford SVT Adrenalin concept truck is as real as it gets — a factory-built prototype packing a Ford V8, SVT ambition, and a bed-plus-cab design that pre-dated today’s high-performance pickups.
It’s not just a concept car: it’s an exclusive piece of automotive history, offering collectors a chance to own the only known example of Ford’s early attempt at a performance-oriented sport-utility pickup. In a world where originality and provenance matter more than ever, this one-of-a-kind truck stands alone — and ready for its next chapter.
