SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this 2008 BMW M6 Convertible showing 31,129 miles on the odometer at the time of this cataloging. Finished in Silverstone Metallic over a Silverstone Extended Merino leather interior, this E64 M6 is offered by a private seller with manuals, promotional literature, service records, a reproduction window sticker, two keys, and a clear title.
The M6 – engineered to take the already capable 6-Series to new heights – excelled in its role as a high-performance luxury grand-tourer. It was praised by journalists for its exhilarating (and sonorous) naturally-aspirated, 500-horsepower V10 engine. On top of that, it was built to handle, and did so with cutting-edge technology like Electronic Damping. CNET said, “The 2008 M6 becomes a formidable track car at the push of a button, with sharpened throttle response and a stiffer suspension.”
This unmodified, low-mileage M6 is ready to deliver the “Ultimate Driving Machine” in open-air motoring complete with a RARE factory manual 6-speed transmission. Built in Dingolfing, Germany in October 2007, it was optioned with features including the Comfort Access System, soft-close automatic doors, carbon fiber trim, head-up display, and Enhanced Premium Sound. The car carried an original retail price of over $110,000 with options when new.
The M6 was both athletic and elegant. Whether you elect to take it to a Saturday night out on the town or a track day at the local circuit, its V10 will perform at either venue with style and authority.
A Blackstone Laboratories oil analysis was performed in March 2025 deemed the engine to be in good health. The sample of 10W60 oil that was evaluated had been in use for 1,616 miles. The report said, “There aren’t any signs of measurable gasoline, water, or antifreeze in the used oil, and insolubles (oxidized solids) read at just a trace.” At the time in March 2025, a new BMW battery was installed and an engine oil service was performed.
The seller has provided over $7,000 in itemized service records. Some of the more recent highlights included an oil service, emissions check, and safety inspection in September 2024, a brake fluid and engine air filter change in 2021, and replacement of the washer pump in 2018.
The CARFAX summary documents this M6 as an accident free, damage-free vehicle. It was last owned in Pennsylvania and shows mileage readings that corroborate the car’s current odometer.
This M6 convertible is said to be free of any significant imperfections.
With its low mileage, unmodified condition, rare factory manual 6-speed transmission, and strong service history - this M6 Convertible is a performance car that lends confidence to the purchase proposition. It comes well-optioned with some of the era’s most desirable features, and it will surely make you find any excuse to get behind the wheel, drop the top, fire up the muscular V10, and cruise to wherever your destination may be.
