This one-off Newstar BG ‘Crusher’ is pure insanity — a Hayabusa-powered, 12,000-rpm, street-legal track weapon with just 546 km. A superbike heart in a custom chassis, it’s unlike anything else on the road... and it's NO RESERVE!

      Overview

SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this no-reserve bespoke Newstar BG tribute showing 546 kilometers (339 miles) on the odometer at the time of this cataloging. Finished in two-tone black and neon green with a single-seat cockpit, it is offered by a private seller in Florida with spare parts, extra tires, a Quik Jack, a battery charger, and a clear title.

What happens when you combine a world-class superbike and a one-off custom lightweight chassis? A vehicle called “The Crusher” is born. The Crusher is challenging to classify, and it must be even more challenging to describe to the onlookers who inquire about it out on the roadways. It is, after all, not just a unique collector vehicle, it is a one-of-one wild creation that simply has no equal.

Combining a lightweight tubular framework and a Suzuki Hayabusa powertrain, this Newstar BG started out life as a 2022 Rush SR which was used during its early days a dedicated track car. Following the 2023 racing season, the vehicle went through a transformation into a custom street-legal performance machine. A donor 2006 Newstar in red was utilized as part of the build, and the suspension, limited-slip rear differential, steering, pedals, and data systems from the Rush were integrated into the new build.

The engine itself is worth special mention: It was pulled from a Suzuki Hayabusa – a superbike that built a name for itself as the “ultimate sportbike,” thanks to its class-leading top speed. In fact, in 1999, it was named the world’s fastest production motorcycle. According to the seller, the current setup will make at least 325 horsepower. Coupled with its lean 1000-lbs., the Crusher has an impressive power-to-weight ratio.

With a rev limiter set at a stratospheric 12,000 rpm, this custom ride is guaranteed to thrill. It comes fully tuned by Tampa Elite and is ready to deliver a hefty dose of adrenaline to its daring driver.

      Condition & Reports

The included CARFAX report shows no history of accidents or damage and Florida ownership from new. In addition, the seller confirms that the donor vehicle was finished in red, hence the color noted in the report.

The seller has provided a photo gallery as well as videos showing drive-by videos and a start-up for review. The fiberglass body is said to have some imperfections as it was hand-laid. There are some off-gassing marks in the paint finish.
