Finished in Mondstein Silver metallic over a white and Piano black leather cabin, this rare grand tourer is widely regarded as the ultimate expression of BMW’s E63 6-Series generation.

Alpina, the legendary BMW tuner, is known for creating vehicles that perfectly blend luxury, comfort, and speed into the kind of understated cars prized by clients seeking discreet, but serious performance. This B6S is a prime example of this approach with its subtle Deco-Set pin striping, killer Alpina Dynamic wheels, and thundering V8 powertrain. 

Not obvious to the average passerby, enthusiasts know this is an all-time BMW 6-Series. Along with the sharp yet low-key exterior enhancements, Alpina has taken the factory N62 V8 and elevated it with Mahle pistons, a forged crankshaft, and a centrifugal supercharger. In ultra-rare S guise, like today’s example, the result is 530 horsepower, 0-60 in 4.5 seconds, and a blistering top speed of 198 mph.

This 2008 Alpina B6S has had two previous owners, is numbers-matching, has an available factory build sheet, and comes with a stamped BMW service booklet.

Blemishes in the paint of this 2008 B6S are highlighted in the gallery along with paint meter readings. Per the owner, the front fenders were not tested as they are made of plastic, while the hood and trunk were not tested as they are made from carbon fiber. The owner also notes that this Alpina has never been in an accident and that the bumpers have been repainted.

Per the seller, it is believed that the vehicle is one of only two in Mondstein Silver metallic, a rare Alpina color.
