Pure '80s insanity with a turbo lag that punches like a sledgehammer and a whale tail that screams don’t mess with me! It’s raw, it’s brutal, and it’s an icon that’ll scare you and thrill you in the same breath!
Overview
SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this 1988 Porsche 911 Turbo coupe showing 57,126 kilometers (35,496 miles) at the time of this cataloging. Finished in Grand Prix White over a black leather interior, it is offered with service records and an AutoHub inspection by a private seller in Dubai.
The 930 made history 50 years ago when it was launched as the first turbocharged Porsche 911. Originally developed to comply with racing homologation regulations, it was essentially a street-legal version of Porsche’s potent racecars. Most importantly, it set the stage for development for future 911 models, and even today, its influence is prevalent in the brand’s themes and direction. Thanks to its muscular wide-body design and whale tail spoiler (both of which added aggressive looks, but also improved aerodynamics/cooling), the 930 was a head-turner as well as a strong performer.
Chassis number WP0ZZZ93ZJS000245 has been owned for the last eight years by a Porsche enthusiast who has had it regularly served at reputable facilities such as Lap 57 and Alex Renner Motors (ARM). The car is handsomely outfitted in equipment from RUF Automotive both inside and out, including an attractive front fascia, a set of 17-inch wheels, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
For any collector of air-cooled Porsches, the 930 is a sought-after classic because of its importance in the brand’s history. This low-mileage 2+2 coupe will be right at home in an enthusiast’s garage.

Historic services were also carried out by Alex Renner Motors (ARM), a facility specializing in luxury car repair and maintenance services.
Condition & Reports
The vehicle was inspected by AutoHub on July 3, 2025, and the report, which can be found below for review, points out the following:
- 50% front and rear brake pad life remaining
- Good tire depth at all four corners
- Paint depth readings collected at 20 locations produced measurements of 1 to 19.7 mils
- Body scratches as shown in the photos and on the “Damage Points” graphic
- Evidence of repaint seen on the bonnet, left fender, right door, and right rear quarter panel
- Engine mount and suspension bushings were noted as being weak
- Some white smoke was observed
Included in the inspection is a video with an exterior walk-around, an interior overview, and a demonstration of the engine at idle. In addition, there are photos of various areas of the car including its undercarriage. The seller notes that the smoke observed during the inspection was due to the car having been stationary for some time prior to the inspection. Additionally, the air conditioning knob was not in the proper position during the inspection so climate control functions were not optimized.
Included in the Sale

- Service records
- Original pedal covers
- Additional overhaul kit is available for any upcoming maintenance
