SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this carbon fiber-bodied 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon showing just 1,766 km (1,097 mi) on the odometer at the time of cataloging. Finished in exposed carbon fiber over a black leather and Alcantara cabin, this exceptional Challenger Demon is simply outrageous.
In stock form, the Challenger Demon was a street-legal drag racer with over 800 horsepower, a 0-60 time of 2.3 seconds, and the ability to clock a 9.65-second quarter-mile at 140 mph. All while pulling epic wheelies. As incredible as that is, today’s 2018 Challenger Demon is in a whole different league.
For starters, this Demon was a development vehicle for SpeedKore’s pre-impregnated carbon fiber process, used in creating lightweight components for Dodge Challenger Widebody applications. Using epoxy-infused carbon fiber fabric molded and cured in SpeedKore’s in-house autoclave system, the all-carbon fiber body reduces weight by 200 pounds versus the factory steel version.
And then there is the engine. Running up to 14.5 psi of boost from the 2.7L supercharger and featuring beefed-up internals, dual-stage fuel pumps, and a revised cooling system, this particular Demon makes more than 1,000 horsepower and pound-feet of torque from its 6.2L HEMI V8.
Technology
The clean CARFAX report lists 6 service records for this 2018 Challenger Demon and 2 owners, with registration in Wisconsin and British Columbia, Canada.
Today’s heavily modified 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon represents a rare opportunity to own a piece of modern muscle car history. The exposed carbon fiber body is stunning, the modified HEMI V8 is a monster, and only 5 were ever made.
Showing very few miles, this Challenger Demon is for the hardcore Mopar enthusiast and is sure to be a highlight of any serious collection.
