This 1960 Corvette with the factory hardtop is pure vintage muscle — numbers matching V8, chrome-loaded, fuel-injected, and built to fly!

    Overview

SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this 1960 Chevrolet Corvette showing just 3,319 mi (5,341 km) on the odometer at the time of cataloging. Finished in Tuxedo Black with a black convertible softtop and black interior, this simple and elegant C1 came highly optioned from the factory and remains very desirable today.

Refurbished under previous ownership, this 1960 Corvette went on to win a Bloomington Gold Certification in 1993 from the National Corvette Certification Board (NCCB) along with Top Flight Awards in 1994 and 1996, the Duntov Mark of Excellence in 1996, and a Performance Verification Award from the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS).

Built during an era of Corvettes known for flashy colors, the classy triple-black design with silver coves on this particluar C1 makes it a relatively rare model. Factor in the optional 270-horsepower 283 V8 under the hood and you have one very special example of America’s sports car.
