Old-school Ferrari vibes, manual gated shifter, 3.4L V8, and no tech — just pure driving! First full drop-top Ferrari since the Daytona.
Overview
SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this 1994 Ferrari 348 Spider showing just 17,704 miles at the time of
this cataloging. Finished in Canna di Fucile Metallic over a Blu Connolly leather interior, it is offered by
Black Horse Garage in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Introduced in 1989, the 348 was the last V8-powered Ferrari model developed under the direction of
the legend himself, Enzo Ferrari. Its design featured signature Pininfarina styling with elements like
distinctive side slats – inspired by Testarossa, a car that had become a “poster car” for sports car fans
around the globe in the 1980s. A few years into production, a convertible variant of the 348 debuted
and added open-air motoring to the already compelling long list of the 348’s credentials.
The 348 Spider is one of the last truly analog Ferraris. Available now is a car that has been inspected and
maintained from front to back, top to bottom by a renowned Italian sports car specialty facility in
Redondo Beach, California. An engine-out service in 2022 (just a few hundred miles ago) totaling over
$18,000 brought the maintenance up to date via work to the valve cover gaskets, clutch, air conditioning
system, drive belts, seals, filters, injectors and much more.
The car comes with service records, accessories and – most importantly – pride of ownership. It has
been loved by Ferrari enthusiasts since Day 1, and it is ready for a new steward.

Summary
The Ferrari 348 acted as a bridge between the traditional V8-powered Ferraris of yesteryear and the newer generation – paying homage to Enzo Ferrari who designed it shortly before his passing. It offered a unique driving balance between performance and refinement, most notably through its direct, non-assisted feel. The Spider variant delivered all that and even more, thanks to its retractable top.
Available before you is an unmodified, fastidiously serviced, low-mileage 348 Spider that will delight the senses. From its rare exterior color to its Connolly leather interior to its long list of service items, it checks all the right boxes for even the most detail-oriented of Ferrari aficionados.
