Although each new generation of Corvette inevitably introduced more power, better performance and a whole host of technological, safety and reliability advances, purists will tell you that it’s the C1 and C2 models that most faithfully evoke the unique spirit and design aesthetic that made the Corvette an all-American automotive icon.
Featuring an OEM C6 chassis, engine, transmission, electrics, mechanicals and interior, this stunning 1967 style ‘vette features CRC’s proprietary carbon fiber body built around a low mileage 2013 C6 Corvette chassis with the original drivetrain and high-performance LS3 430hp engine.
The car has retained its original C6 instrumentation, convertible top, factory front and side airbags and front and rear crash protection.

When this 2013 Chevrolet Corvette Z16 GS had just 3,150 kms on the clock it was stripped of its outer skin and covered with a CRC hand-crafted carbon-based composite body shell tailored to its size and proportions.
If the standard 2013 C6 Z16 GS was good for 0-60mph in 4.2 second, imagine what a CRC evocation wearing a lightweight composite body might achieve.
This stunning car brings together the power and performance of a C6 with the timeless beauty and head-turning presence of presence of a C2-style body.
In every conceivable sense, it can definitely be considered the best of both worlds.
