The McLaren Senna is a masterclass in engineering — every vent, every curve, every gram of carbon is designed for speed. But beyond the numbers, it’s the feeling. The connection you get with this car is raw, immediate, and unlike anything I’ve ever driven.
Overview
SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this 2019 McLaren Senna showing just 576 kilometers at the time of this cataloging. Finished in white, it is offered in Japan with a clear title.
Named in honor of Formula One racing legend Ayrton Senna, McLaren’s limited-production, mid-engined sports car was painstakingly engineered to impress. Dubbed the P15 internally, it was modeled to celebrate Senna’s three Formula One World Drivers’ Championship titles and 35 Formula One Grand Prix race wins. Only 500 such cars were hand-built, and the production run was quickly sold out.
The Senna’s minimalist approach was hyper-focused on the car’s track-going intentions: It used a new generation of carbon fiber monocoque construction, active aerodynamics and a twin-turbocharged V8 to deliver the most exhilarating street-or-track driving experience possible. On paper, its credentials are impressive. In practice, they are even more convincing. The car rockets through the standing quarter-mile in fewer than 10 seconds. It is capable of achieving 208 mph with ease and authority.
Available now is the rare opportunity for an astute McLaren collector to own a car that was named after – and inspired by – a Formula One legend. A comprehensive inspection of this stunning Senna number 308 was performed in accordance with Japanese Automobile Appraisal Association guidelines, and the car was awarded top marks for exterior, interior and mechanical condition. Bid with confidence.
