You’ve got hand-stitched leather everywhere, a canvas top for those open-air moments, and that classic 300 Tdi still purring like a legend.

    Overview

SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this fully restored 1997 Land Rover Defender 110 300 Tdi showing just 111 mi (179 km) on the odometer at the time of cataloging. Finished in Matte Stornoway Gray with a tan canvas top and matching leather cabin, this carefully recrafted Defender is a work of automotive art.

Over the course of 12 months, renowned Land Rover specialists Unique Masterpieces out of Portugal took this 1997 Defender 110 down to the frame and started fresh. As seen in the gallery, they went over every square inch of this spectacular Defender, including a full rebuild of the original 300 Tdi powertrain.

The results speak for themselves, but it’s worth paying special attention to the cabin with its almost entirely leather-covered surface, including diamond-quilted touches and contrast stitching. Featuring a fully removable soft-top and rear jump seats, this classic Defender 110 is primed for a new generation of adventures.

    Condition & Reports

Per the attached CARFAX report, this 1997 Land Rover Defender 110 300 Tdi was originally registered in Spain. After the restoration was completed by Unique Masterpieces in Portugal, it was imported to Florida in 2024.

Extensive gallery photos of the interior, exterior, underside, and mechanicals illustrate the seller’s description of this restored 1997 Defender 110 as “...basically a new Land Rover.”

The vehicle was inspected on April 11, 2025, the report documents a variety of minor issues, including minor seat and door panel wear, a small dent in the driver's side quarter panel, paint irregularity on one of the wheel center caps, surface rust, and some rough weld and/or rivet work on the roof cowl. Per the seller and gallery photos, there is no wear to the upholstery or interior door panels and no obvious surface rust.
