Overview
SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this 1964 Chevrolet Corvette convertible restomod showing just 7,579 mi (12,917 km) on the odometer at the time of cataloging. Finished in silver with a black soft-top over a black cabin, this thoroughly modernized C2 is art on four wheels.
When the Corvette Sting Ray debuted in 1963, all sharp creases and slinky bodywork, it set the automotive industry on fire with excitement. Today’s incredible 1964 example, in all its restomod glory, elevates this classic American sports car to a modern masterpiece that would have made Zora proud.
Thundering 427 up front, dual pipes running down the side, stunning silver finish, open-air driving, and a 5-speed manual. It just doesn’t get much better than this in the world of restomodding. Completed in 2007, this C2 remains in pristine shape and promises the very best of classic 1960s style with 21st-century mechanicals.

Summary
The C2 Corvette is one of the most sought-after generations in this storied sports car’s long history, thanks in part to those stunning lines. It’s a car that is hard to improve upon, unless of course you fit it with a monster 427, fully modernize the running gear, and give it a glistening new finish.
Which is what today’s 1964 Corvette convertible restomod represents - one of the best examples of America’s Sports Car made even better…some might say perfect.
