OVERVIEW
SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this 1996 Porsche 911 Turbo GT2 Evo Recreation showing an estimated 85,500 mi (137,599 km) on the odometer at the time of cataloging. Finished in Guards Red over a Dark Gray Alcantara cabin, this unique homage to the ultra-rare 911 GT2 Evo is incredible.
Starting with a 993-series 1996 Porsche 911 Turbo, it was carefully rebuilt to GT2 Evo spec. Understood to have been delivered new to North America, the second owner commissioned Porsche specialists S&N Automotiblezentrum out of Aachen, Germany to begin the GT2 Evo conversion process using factory components.
The car was then sold to Harry Metcalfe, founder and former editorial director of Evo magazine who brought it to Autofarm in Bicester, UK for further GT2 Evo updates. Along with a host of factory original parts, this GT2 Evo Recreation boasts 520 horsepower from its 3.6L twin-turbo flat-6.
When Porsche capped air-cooled 911 production with these 993-series Turbos, they created a vehicle that would go down in history as one of the most driver-focused sports cars ever. This particular example, finished in Guards Red and sporting true GT2 Evo updates, is truly special.

SUMMARY
The 993-generation Porsche 911 Turbo is an amazing modern classic on its own. But it pales in comparison to the incredible GT2 Evo tribute you see today. Guards Red paint. The massive rear spoiler. Beefed-up fenders. Deep-dish alloys. And of course, the massaged 520-horse twin-turbo flat-6 out back.
Featuring a carefully curated list of high-performance modifications performed by respected Porsche specialists, this GT2 Evo Recreation is a stunner.
