Description
OVERVIEW
SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this 2008 International MXT showing 154,644 km (96,100 mi) on the odometer at the time of cataloging. Finished in white over a black cabin, this giant-sized off-roader is the ultimate pickup truck.
When a legendary truck maker like Navistar, formerly International Harvester, plans a 100-year birthday celebration, they pull out all the stops as evidenced by this 2008 MXT. Part of the Xtreme Truck series that debuted in 2004, the MXT - or Most eXtreme Truck - dropped jaws when it landed in 2007.
Based on the MXT-MV tactical vehicle used by military forces, this civilian variant rides on the DuraStar medium-duty chassis and is a straight-up beast. Standing a foot taller than the Hummer H1 and more than 5 feet longer, the MXT makes even the biggest modern heavy-duty pickup trucks look tame in comparison.
These MXTs were rated for up to 15,500 pounds of towing, 4,000 pounds of payload, and tipped the scales at around 10,500 pounds. Today’s model is an extended cab variant and looks sharp in a clean coat of white paint with glorious 20” polished alloys mounted in massive 40” rubber.

Considering the age and mileage of this 2008 International MXT, overall condition appears to be very good. The interior, exterior, and engine bay are carefully documented in the extensive gallery, which includes video of engine start-up and an exterior walk-around.
Noted imperfections include scuffing on the passenger-side exterior mirror, underbody surface corrosion, small tears in the headliner, and a worn front passenger seat side bolster.
SUMMARY
Some need a full-size SUV or pickup truck for imposing looks or big-time performance or perhaps serious towing capacity. But this 2008 International MXT bundles that all into one hard-core, all-business package that’ll get the job done with ease.
It’s a truck that was originally designed for the rigors of military use, distilled into a civilian-friendly pickup that has the off-road capability to back up the imposing looks. The MXT is one of the largest pickups ever put into mass production and is ready to show its next owner what unstoppable really means.
