OVERVIEW
SBX Cars is proud to offer for sale this 2017 Ferrari 488 GTB 70th Anniversary showing just 165 km (102 mi) on the odometer at the time of cataloging. Finished in Rosso Corsa and Grigio Silverstone over a Charcoal Alcantara and Black F1 Aunde fabric cabin, this stunning mid-engined exotic is the only one in existence and is offered by its original owner.
Without a doubt, every Ferrari that has ever rolled out of the factory in Maranello is a special car. But, models like this 488 GTB 70th Anniversary move the needle into a category of the truly exceptional. Reserved for the Italian automaker’s most important clients, this one-off beauty is unlike any other.
As part of Ferrari’s 70th anniversary celebration in 2017, an exclusive program was unveiled, blending the talents of its Tailor Made and Ferrari Design divisions. Combing through their vast archives, Ferrari created 70 bespoke 488 GTBs, each one a tribute to the most beautiful models to ever bear the Cavallino Rampante.
The stunner up for sale today is Livery #66, a design that pays homage to the 2010 599 GTO, a small-run legend that was only the third model in Ferrari’s history to bear the fabled GTO moniker. The two-tone exterior and beautifully crafted interior are clear calls to the GTO, while underneath is a supercar like no other.
That being an aluminum and carbon fiber chassis housing a twin-turbocharged flat-plane crank 3.9-liter V8 rated for 661 horsepower and 8,000 rpm. Loaded with F1-derived technology, the 488 Gran Turismo Berlinetta took the revered Ferrari mid-engined V8 mantle to new heights and this exclusive 2017 model is one of the very best.

SUMMARY
When it comes to Ferraris, finding words to describe how incredible these cars are can be challenging as all are nothing short of excellent. The 488 GTB was no stranger to this praise with slinky wind-cheating lines, all manner of trick F1-derived systems, and an incredibly potent twin-turbocharged V8 mounted behind the driver.
However, considering this particular 488 GTB is the only one of its kind, and one that calls to mind the 599 GTO - essentially a road-going 599XX - puts it on a different level. Just like its stablemates, it can rocket to 60 in under 3 seconds on a top speed comfortably beyond 200 mph.
That said, this 70th Anniversary 488 GTB is for the serious Ferrari enthusiast, an all-time collector’s car from the moment it left Maranello.
