SUMMARY

It’s easy to say a vehicle has “presence” on the road, it’s another to build something from the ground up into the sort of machine that causes people to stop in their tracks. But this 1983 “Grey Goose” Defender does just that.

The ideal blend of classic hard-nosed looks, modern touches like crisp LED lighting, a burly wheel and suspension setup, a completely refreshed powertrain, and rich dark brown leather seating - this is the SUV for those looking to stand tall in a sea of modern day vehicular sameness.
