OVERVIEW

If you’re unfamiliar with the Hyper SSR, prepare to be staggered. A supercar by any measure, this all-electric screamer has the stance of a mid-engine exotic with the locomotive thrust that comes from a triple-motor design cranking out north of 1,200 horsepower. 

Billed as China’s first electric supercar, the Hyper SSR leads the way for GAC Aion’s push into the high-end automotive arena. An all-out assault that the automaker says will turn the hypercar monopoly currently dominated by Italy on its head. 

Featuring all the hallmarks of the supercar breed, with an emphasis on blistering speed, the Hyper SSR looks poised to put the high-performance EV world on notice.

SPECIFICATIONS & OPTIONS

This 2024 GAC Aion Hyper SSR “Sprint Edition” is powered by a trio of permanent magnet synchronous electric motors - one powering the front wheels and two powering the rears - fed by a 74.9 kWh ternary lithium battery pack. 

It is rated for 900 kW (1,225 hp) and 1,230 Nm (907 lb-ft) of torque. Per GAC Aion, the Hyper SSR has a driving range of 506 km (314 mi) and can add 140 km (87 mi) of range in 10 minutes of charging. 

A 2-speed direct-drive transmission routes power to all four wheels with an electronically-controlled limited-slip differential. Additional features below:

SERVICE HISTORY

As this GAC Aion Hyper SSR has yet to be registered and shows only delivery mileage, no service has been carried out. An optional vehicle warranty is available for purchase with the sale of the vehicle.
