OVERVIEW

Offered for sale on SBX Cars is this stunning 2021 Ferrari SF90 Stradale ‘Assetto Fiorano’, finished in Rosso Corsa over a Rosso Ferrari and Nero interior, and showing 6,936 kilometers at the time of cataloging.

MODEL HISTORY

Ferrari, one of the world’s most legendary automotive brands, celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2019 and, to mark the occasion, it introduced something special.

Beginning a new chapter in its history, Ferrari unveiled the SF90 Stradale – its first series-production Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV).

Extreme on every level, the SF90 Stradale offers extreme driving performance, combining a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with three electric motors, two of which are independent and located on the front axle, with the third at the rear between the engine and the gearbox. 

Despite the additional 270 kilograms for the hybrid components, the SF90 Stradale weighs 1,570 kilograms – just 200 kilograms more than its predecessor LaFerrari.

Although the hybrid system provides up to 26 kilometers (16 miles) of electric-only driving, its purpose is power, with the motors delivering up to 217 additional horsepower, for an incredible total output of 986 horsepower.

As to be expected, the SF90 Stradale’s acceleration and top speed figures are staggering: 0-97 km/h (0-60 mph) takes just 2.5 seconds, and the top speed is stated at 340 km/h (211 mph).

Understandably, the SF90 Stradale comes equipped with massive carbon-fiber ceramic brakes the size of a family pizza, helping the Italian hybrid to come to a hassle-free stop.

Not only was the SF90 Stradale Ferrari’s first PHEV, though, it was the brand’s first model to wear C-shaped headlights integrated into the brake air intakes, as opposed to the typical L-shaped lights. 

It was also the first time the Italians equipped one of their Prancing Horses with matrix LEDs, while the SF90 Stradale also saw the introduction of angular taillights over the familiar round design associated with the brand for decades.

Inside, the thoroughly high-tech cockpit features a fully digital dashboard and touch controls, as well as an eManettino rotary switch allowing the driver to choose between four different driving modes: ‘eDrive’ for purely electric driving, ‘Hybrid’ for maximum driving comfort, ‘Performance’ for those who like it a bit sportier, and ‘Qualify’ for pushing the SF90 Stradale to its limits.

The aforementioned results in a supercar that truly embraces and integrates the latest in tech in pursuit of the ultimate driving experience, whether on road or track.

THIS 2021 FERRARI SF90 STRADALE ‘ASSETTO FIORANO’

Owned from new by the consignor, this 2021 Ferrari SF90 Stradale ‘Assetto Fiorano’ was delivered via Premier Motors, the official Ferrari dealer in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Since delivery, this SF90 Stradale has seen limited road use while residing in the consignor’s private collection, its odometer displaying 6,936 kilometers (approximately 4,310 miles) at the time of cataloging, and consequently, the vehicle presents in remarkable condition.

Finished in the classic livery of Rosso Corsa with Nero two-tone body painting, the fenders of this supercar are adorned with Scuderia Ferrari shields.

The exterior is further enhanced by carbon-fiber wheels with titanium wheel bolts wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza S005 rubber, behind which sit a set of black brake calipers.

Perhaps the most notable option specced on this SF90 Stradale is the highly-desirable Assetto Fiorano package, which includes a more prominent rear spoiler, helping the car generate 390 kg of downforce at 155 mph (249 km/h).

The package also includes carbon-fiber panels and a titanium exhaust system, helping cut weight by 30 kg, with this particular example also specced with black ceramic exhaust pipes.

Perhaps most significantly, the Assetto Fiorano upgrade ditches the standard adaptive dampers for passive items by Multimatic – essentially the type used by GT3 racing cars – and titanium springs.

Inside, the cabin features carbon-fiber racing seats, trimmed with Rosso Ferrari leather with Nero-colored inner details, matching the Nero carpet.

The seats also feature the iconic Prancing Horse emblem finished in Nero, with contrast Filo Speciale Nero stitching, and Rosso-colored safety belts.

Carbon fiber adorns much of the cabin, including the steering wheel, which is trimmed with Rosso Ferrari leather.

Additional equipment includes front and rear parking sensors, parking camera, an electrochromic rearview mirror, premium HiFi system, and a handy fire extinguisher.

MECHANICAL

In October 2022, Premier Motors carried out an annual service of the vehicle at 3,843 kilometers (approximately 2,388 miles), during which time the pollen filter was replaced, and the battery and brakes were found to be okay.

In September 2023, Al Tayer Motors in Dubai carried out an annual service of the vehicle at 5,183 kilometers (approximately 3,221 miles), which included an oil and filter change, brake fluid replacement, pollen filter change, as well as a vehicle health inspection, which deemed the brakes to be okay.

In March 2024, as the vehicle turned three years old, Premier Motors carried out a road test, with the warranty subsequently extended by an additional year (ending 10th March, 2025), which is transferable within the UAE.
