OVERVIEW

SBX Cars is proud to be the world’s first auction house to offer for sale a 2024 Ferrari Purosangue. This beautiful-specified example, finished in Nero (black) over a Giallo (yellow) leather interior, shows just 2,040 kilometers at the time of cataloging.

MODEL HISTORY

After years of anticipation by the international automotive fraternity, Ferrari finally lifted the curtain on the Purosangue in September 2022. The first ever four-door, four-seater in the Prancing Horse’s 75-year history, the Italian marque has created a vehicle that not only combines performance, driving pleasure and comfort, but also encapsulates the brand’s iconic DNA. It was therefore apt that Purosangue, Italian for ‘thoroughbred’, was the name chosen for Ferrari’s first luxury SUV.

Unique on the world stage, the Purosangue delivers a mid-front-mounted engine to supply dynamics that only drivers of the Prancing Horse can experience. Maranello’s iconic naturally-aspirated V12 powertrain was embedded within, producing a staggering 715 horsepower and a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration figure of just 3.3 seconds. With 528 lb-ft of torque at your disposal, the Purosangue competes with aplomb, while the soundtrack of dreams is produced from the quad-exit exhaust system.

75 years of history have led the Prancing Horse to this point, and the Purosangue’s aerodynamic development has resulted in a breadth of innovative elements. New solutions include synergy between the front bumper and wheel arch trim, to generate an air curtain that aerodynamically seals the front wheels, preventing turbulent transverse air flows being generated.

Ferrari also gave the Purosangue the very latest iterations of the vehicle dynamic control systems introduced on its most powerful and exclusive sports cars, including independent four-wheel steering and ABS ‘evo’ with the 6-way Chassis Dynamic Sensor (6w-CDS). Making its world debut was the new Ferrari active suspension system, effectively controlling body roll in corners as well as the tire contact patch over high-frequency bumps, delivering the same performance and handling response as in one of the marque’s sports cars.

The Purosangue’s all-new chassis has a carbon-fiber roof as standard to keep weight down and lower the center of gravity. Meanwhile, a redesigned bodyshell also meant Ferrari’s designers could incorporate rear-hinged back doors (welcome doors) to make ingress and egress easier while keeping the vehicle as compact as possible. The Purosangue’s cabin has four generous heated electric seats that comfortably accommodate four adults, with the trunk the largest ever seen on a Ferrari, and rear seats folding to increase luggage space. As to be expected, the Purosangue has a more commanding driving position than other Ferraris, but the configuration is the same as any other. As a result, the driving position is still intimate and close to the floor.

Existing Ferrari customers were the first to be privileged to get the new model. However, with the Purosangue generating strong interest from buyer’s new to the brand, demand by far exceeded expectation, resulting in customers having to wait longer to get their new first-ever Ferrari SUV.

THIS 2024 FERRARI PUROSANGUE

This 2024 Ferrari Purosangue was delivered new to Scuderia S.F. Praha – the official Ferrari dealer in Prague, Czechia. After a period under the stewardship of its first owner, it was then acquired by a dealer in Dubai, who imported the vehicle into the United Arab Emirates and sold it to its current owner, the consignor.

A European-specification example, this Purosangue is presented in Nero exterior paint, which exudes sophistication and presence. Inside, the cabin is adorned with exquisite Giallo leather, complemented by the iconic Prancing Horse emblem in Rosso (red), with color-matching stitching and seat belts. To add to an already elegant inviting atmosphere, the seats feature white piping, complemented by white leather upholstery throughout the cabin, with the upper section finished in contrasting Nero leather.

Underlying Ferrari’s racing heritage, this Purosangue benefits from an array of optionally-fitted equipment, including a carbon-fiber instrument cover, carbon-fiber door panels, carbon-fiber exterior sill kick plates, carbon-fiber center console, carbon-fiber steering wheel with LEDs, and yellow rev counter. Creature comforts include a panoramic roof, massaging and ventilated front seats, ventilated and heated rear seats, a high-end audio system, surround view, and smartphone interface with wireless charging.

The exterior is enhanced with carbon-fiber wheel arches, carbon-fiber under door covers, and Scuderia Ferrari shields on the fenders, while yellow brake calipers provide a striking contrast to the black exterior of the vehicle. Equipped with black-finished staggered alloy wheels (22” front, 23” rear) wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires, this Purosangue not only looks stunning, but also offers exceptional handling and ride quality. Meanwhile, active matrix LED headlights ensure superior visibility and add a modern edge to its design.

MECHANICAL

Beneath the Purosangue’s sleek exterior lies a powerhouse of performance, driven by a potent 6.5-liter V12 engine paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with four-wheel drive. That powertrain produces 715 horsepower and 528 lf-ft of torque, propelling the luxury SUV from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.3 seconds and onto a top speed of 193 mph (310 km/h) with effortless grace.

As this vehicle has only covered approximately 2,040 kilometers (around 1,268 miles), no restoration or service work has been carried out, therefore, no service history file exists.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE SALE

The sale of the Purosangue is accompanied by original-delivery accessories, including a leather wallet containing the owner’s manual and other handbooks.
