It was offered in various body styles, including a two-door SUV, pickup truck, and roadster, catering to a wide range of needs. 

With powerful engine options, four-wheel drive, and a short wheelbase, the Bronco proved itself as a capable off-roader, popular among outdoor enthusiasts and ranchers. 

The First-Generation Bronco remains a beloved classic, and its legacy lives on with the reintroduction of the Ford Bronco in the modern era, paying homage to its rugged heritage.

THIS 1966 CLASSIC ELECTRIC FORD BRONCO

Having started life as a regular two-door SUV, this 1966 Classic Electric Ford Bronco was acquired in 2021 by Zero Labs Automotive, who began work creating the unique vehicle you see today. 

With a track record of building classic electric vehicles from the ground up, delivering them to top billionaires, tech CEOs and celebrities, it’s fair to say Zero Automotive Labs were the right people for the job.

One thing needs to be made clear, though; the work undertaken on this Classic Electric Ford Bronco wasn’t a conversion, but instead a fully-rearchitected, ground-up build. 

Exterior wise, the vehicle’s body has been fully rebuilt and meticulously remastered, with the re-aligned body panels and flush exterior hinges.

The exterior also features functional front vents for enhanced performance, a full custom hard top for added durability, and LED lighting for enhanced visibility and energy efficiency.

Lastly, but certainly not least, this retro-looking SUV sits on a set of 18-inch steel wheels painted with a durable powder coat finish for longevity and sitting in front of a Brembo six-piston (front) and four-piston (rear) braking system.

The attention to detail continues inside, where full flat floors are featured – something never seen before – creating 25 percent more space.  

Superior luxury and refinement are very much at the heart of the cabin, which features handcrafted panels and decor, electric doors and windows (custom width) for convenience, premium three-way adjustable seating for optimal comfort, and creature comforts like a Bluetooth interface and iPod connectivity.

Performance wise, this old-school Bronco boasts a fully-electric powertrain with an extended-range 100 kWh battery and onboard charger, delivering 600 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque, and an estimated range of 235+ miles.

Other performance features include independent front and rear suspension, dual motor controls, dual AWD electric AC motors, a digital gauge cluster (maximum RPM of 18,000), a CAN-enabled digital control system, and upgradable battery and charging systems.

MECHANICAL

Reengineered and serviced in-house by Zero Automotive Labs, this Classic Electric Ford Bronco has covered 350 miles since its rebuild, although the mileage of the shell is estimated to be 15,350 miles. 

Fully tested and road legal, it’s being offered for sale with a 24-month repair warranty included.
